Before coming to the field

• Temperatures must be taken before coming to the field.  Anyone with an internal temperature of 100 or more should stay home and text the coach. 
• If you stay home for any reason, that must be communicated far in advance to your coach.  If you are out due to illness, the league may have to meet reporting requirements to local health authorities. 
• Face coverings should be worn to/from the field, and by parents congregating or waiting for practice to be done.  
• Every player must have a SIGNED waiver (attached) in order to play.  

At the field

• We will have hand sanitizer at the field, and will wash any shared equipment before and after our practices.  
• All equipment must be placed 6 feet apart on the side lines.  
• Players should have their own supply of hand sanitizer.
• There will be no snacks, and no one should share equipment or water bottles.  
• THERE WILL NOT BE ANY BATHROOM FACILITIES AVAILABLE because we cannot appropriately staff the cleaning between uses. 

All the Standard Equipment for Players

So many new rules, we forgot the old ones in the last email:

• Girls:  Goggles, mouth guard, girls' stick; cleats are optional but recommended
• Boys:  Helmet and full body protective gear, mouth guard and boys' stick; cleats are optonal but recommended

Weather permitting we will continue with the same schedule until there are fall sports conflicts on the fields. 

We regret that have not been able to fully staff coaching for the younger boys for the summer. 

 2020 Season Cancelled

The NHYLA Board met on Thursday April 16, 2020 (minutes will be published soon).

On April 16, 2020, at approximately 2:15pm, the New Hampshire Governor ordered ALL public schools will remain ‘closed’ and remote learning will be in place through the ‘end of the [2020] school year’. On April 16, 2020, at approximately 3:00pm, the NHIAA (the NH high school sports association) announced the 2020 Spring Season for high school student-athletes is canceled. That announcement is here: http://www.nhiaa.org/nhiaa-spring-2020-update

Although the NHYLA Board deliberated possible options for a 2020 NHYLA sponsored spring/summer season, the ultimate decision was to postpone NHYLA sponsored league play until 2021. This decision is a difficult one. The 2020 NHYLA Season and 2020 NHYLA Festival (June 14th/15th, 2020), are, unfortunately, canceled.

The next NHYLA meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 21, 2020 at 7:00pm, if necessary. More details to come.

2020 Registration is closed March 15th

• Laconia Lacrosse Club is "registration free" for the 2020 season
• NO COST to play if you register by February 29th.
  • All players must hold valid membership with US Lacrosse to register.
  • Late FEE begins March 1st:  $100
• There will be ONE MANDATORY Calendar Fundraiser in April
• All players must be registered with US Lacrosse:  $30
• Games begin Saturday April 11th (before Easter)
  • all other games are played on Sundays through June 7th
  • Saturday June 6th is the make-up day
• NHYLA Festival June 13 & 14, 2020  Amherst, NH
  • teams TBA based on league standings and field scheduling

Anyone from Laconia and the surrounding area, such as Meredith, Center Harbor, Belmont, Tilton, Sanbornton, New Hampton and Franklin can play for LLC.

All players MUST be members of US Lacrosse to practice and play.Students age 15 and under can register with US Lacrosse for as little as $30, and the online registration system will direct you to US Lacrosse to complete registration before you can register with LLC.

GIRLS:As per NHYLA rules, girls will be allowed to play on boys teams at the discretion of the Board in order to ensure that as many eligible players as possible are available to field teams in both boys and girls leagues.

9^th grade players who are NOT on a high school team may still participate in NHYLA in Laconia.
